Who Am I?
You are probably asking yourself who is this person. My name is James Addison Pellerano. Most people call me Addison. I am a 22 year old front-end web developer, student, runner and Coast Guard Reservist. I am a senior at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, where I am majoring in digital art. I was an animator at one point in my career and I found out it was not for me. While I still enjoy animating, animating on a professional level is not for me.
A little history, I was born in Baltimore, MD, lived in Hawaii for three years and have spent the past 19 years in costal Maine. My father also served in the Coast Guard, hence why we moved around. I graduated from a small high school (graduating class was 67), went on to Quinnipiac University for two years before transferring to Northeastern.
As for web design and development, I started in the spring of 2005. Learned basic HTML from my Algebra 2 teacher, soon after that I added CSS to my skill set. My first year at Quinnipiac I learned about Ruby on Rails and became fascinated with the framework. This opened up the world of dynamic websites to me.
